First time swimming!

While we were in St. George we went swimming... and Zack loved it!! We bought him the floaty for him to sit in and he just sat there being so content. So much fun.

Also while we were in St. George, Zack clapped his hands for the first time!! I have been working with him to do it, and then all of a sudden there he was doing it. Now I just say "clap your hands" and he gets a huge smile on his face and starts clapping!
Wonder what he'll do next...

I have been wanting to know a specific day as to when Zack decided to start sitting on his own, but it's just been so random! He would sit for a short amount of time, tip over, sit for a little longer, then tip over, and so on. Now, he's just sitting anywhere I put him, and only tips over very rarely! So the point of this post is just to say that Zack is now sitting, but for how long, I don't know!!

This picture is just so sweet too. He falls asleep in the car pretty easy, and this is how he fell asleep recently. So cute, I had to take a picture!

Two new favorite toys!

Zack is so silly right now! He is starting to scoot around, and with that, he has found a new toy. His swing. No, this isn't new to him, but underneath the swing is where he plays now! He scoots himself so he gets under it then he starts swinging it back and forth. Who new that would impress him so much?! Also, he loves his bouncer thing (I don't know the actual name for it all of a sudden!). This is a video of him recently... he seems to hit his head, but it doesn't phase him. He loves it!!

A lot of firsts!

Zack has had a lot of firsts these past couple of weeks. First, our trip to California! Everything there was a first for him, so that was an adventure! He did so well with it all, maybe we should do it again!
Also, he got his first haircut. Keep in mind that I thought it wouldn't be that hard to just trim up the top, but man, he kept wanting to look up to see what I was doing! This could be the hardest haircut I have ever done!! Even now, I see spots that need help... but do you think I am going to attempt this one again soon, no!

And then yesterday, for his 10 month day, I took him into the doctor because he has been coughing a lot, throwing up, has had a fever, etc. He has an ear infection. Whoosh... with everything that's going on with the world right now, this was the last thing I wanted to see. So I will take the ear infection (which Zack is handling very well), and keep the antibotics going in.
On a little side note, he weighed exactly 13 pounds on his 10 month birthday. So he's really getting big!
